In this ongoing class, students will work on homework with a teacher in the room. Students can ask questions about homework and receive tutoring immediately when they are unsure or do not understand the concept on which they are working.
Class experience
US Grade 3 - 5
The class will begin with introductions (name, grade, current topic in math class, Optional: question for teacher). I will address easy questions first, then I will answer harder questions and re-teach when necessary. Students do NOT need to complete their homework ahead of time. (5-20 minutes) Students should only be on mute if they have considerable background noise. If a student has an IEP at school and needs specific accommodations or is working toward math-related goals, I am happy to provide those accommodations and provide monthly progress monitoring on those math goals if it would be helpful for the IEP team.
