Description

Class Experience

This class is for elementary math tutoring. When you request a tutoring section, please tell me the grade (1 - 6) and the topics.

My tutoring style tends to be more like the Socratic Method, where I ask many questions. As I get closer to the source of the problem, I may switch to leading questions to help the learner narrow in on the solution. Though I may illustrate an example, I insist that the student do it themselves and show it to me. I do a full 60 minutes.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I will report back after each tutoring sessions to the parent about the progress made and any further steps needed.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
