I have been a teacher for 20 years combined experience with public school, private/enrichment school and home school. I hold a Bachelors of Music Education from the University of North Texas, PK-12th All Level Texas Music Teachers Certification, a Level 1 Kodaly certification, and EC-6 Core Texas Teachers Certification. My teaching style is to ensure that each student is included, welcomed, valued and encouraged.
Students are encouraged to have 10 to 20 small items on hand to practice adding or subtracting together. Edible items encouraged! Non-edible items could be dry beans, small legos or coins etc. Please also have paper and pencil or dry erase board and marker.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
