Description

Class Experience

In class we will work through a typical elementary math curriculum. The parent will provide the physical curriculum and the teacher will support it. During class we will progress through all topics in elementary math as determined by the level of the student. All instruction will be individualized to the needs of the learner. In addition, the teacher will offer online monitoring of math activities that happen between classes. Classes will meet for 30 minutes twice a week and be limited to one...

Parent will supply the curriculum of their choice. Any additional manipulatives or resources would be approved by the parent before being used in the class.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Khan Academy

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

The parent will provide the physical math curriculum.
Options include: MCP Math, Saxon, Seton, Mammoth, Singapore, or Shiller
The teacher will set up Khan Academy to allow for monitoring additional practice.
