Bonjour! My name is Laura. I am a French native speaker and I teach the class in French. I do translate as needed to help the learners to understand and memorize what they are learning. The class is for children from 7 to 10 years old. All are welcome. Some French is recommended before signing for this class but not mandatory if you apply yourself. There is weekly homework to practice what has been learned during class. The book and the workbook Les Loustics 1 are mandatory and learners...

I have over 20 years of experience in teaching languages (French and Italian) and I hold a certificate in teaching French as a Foreign Language. "Enseigner le français en langue étrangère aujourd'hui" by the Alliance Française de Vichy, France.
Weekly activities in the "Cahier d'activités" are expected to be done before the next lesson as well as listening to any audio in relation to the upcoming lessons.
I do informal assessments as we go during the weeks, to evaluate their learning progress. I also encourage them to stay organized with their workbook and stay on task with homework completed.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
