Students will be introduced to the Spanish language and no previous knowledge is required. We will briefly explore where Spanish is mostly spoken and then move on to language. Participants will learn to count in Spanish with the numbers one to ten. They will learn to identify the colors verbally and in writing in addition to basic greetings used in Spanish. This class will begin with teacher discussion and a Google slide presentation. Students will be invited to participate in a song to help them retain the numbers and greetings as well as an interactive game with colors in Spanish.

Hello! I am teacher Terri and I have been having fun teaching World Languages for over two decades. I have a Master's degree in Education, a Bachelors degree in Spanish and I am certified to teach Spanish K-12. I have taught students ages 4-18 from beginning Elementary Spanish to Level IV High school as well as World Language Exploratory. I also have extensive experience teaching ESL to learners of English and hold a TEFL certificate. I love sharing languages in a fun and memorable way and I believe this helps students excel.
