This is a full academic year curriculum for fifth-grade level learners where they will explore reading, writing, and presenting skills in line with common core standards.

1-2 hours per week. Homework will be available after each class as requested. It will be in the form of Google Slides that the students will be able to work directly on.
Assessment
Informal assessments during class, written work to be assessed via rubric, and progress reports available upon request.

Welcome to fifth-grade English Language Arts!

This course contains a variety of activities and is based on Wonders 5th Grade Units 1 - 6, Weeks 1 - 5. This course is 48 weeks long (6 Units x 8 weeks each).

Unit 2- Taking the next step. What does it take to put a plan into action?

	Week 3: Investigations (Sequence, Biography, Greek/Latin Suffixes)

Unit 4- It's up to you. How do we decide what's important?
