Class experience
This art project will introduce your learner to a wide variety of art skills, art concepts and art history in a fun, process oriented, mixed-media lesson based on the circle paintings of Wassily Kandinsky! Large heavyweight sheet of white paper (recommend at least 12 x 18 inches)
tempera paint in red, yellow, blue and white
1 paint brush and water cup
3 plates or trays
5 cylinder shaped objects in different sizes (cardboard paper towel roll, plastic or styrofoam cups or small bowls, water bottles, large
bottle caps, a drinking straw, etc)
paper towel or wet wipe
Oil Pastels (I recommend Crayola brand oil pastels for children) Crayons may be substituted for oil pastels, but oil pastels are nice to have when mixing colors.
