Class experience
This semester long art class is great for elementary school artists of all levels, no experience is needed. I teach via "tell, show, do and feedback" which is very similar to the "gradual release" model used in schools. Each month there will be a theme or central focus for the projects that the students create, all tied together using National Standards for Visual Arts. A variety of art supplies is suggested. Paper/Pencil/Eraser/Ruler/acrylic or water color paints with brushes, air dry or oven bake clay. etc.
Some classes may require scissors or oven use (clay projects) and parental guidance is suggested for safety.
