Class Experience

In this class, siblings are provided with ELA and/or math instruction or tutoring. Siblings can work on their respective age levels but cover the same content allowing for great at home conversations concerning class topics learned, strengthening of the sibling bonding, and peer support. Parents/Guardians may request the use of a specific curriculum, or I may provide my own. It is advised that parents/guardians first reach out to me concerning their expectations. If your family desires to utilize a particular curriculum, please ensure that I will be able to access the materials, instructional directions, etc... in some way that I may effectively lesson plan. When supplying my own lessons for students, I utilize a plethora of resources and pick out the most essential and beneficial aspect to individualize students' learning experience and cater to your children's learning styles. I love teaching in a way that excites kids and always look to incorporate those topics and themes that each student finds interesting. Thus, my curriculums are ever evolving as I learn more about your unique learners' personalities and get a gauge of their interests, struggles, and academic needs. I believe that every subject encompasses some aspect of math and reading, thus, if you would like your kids to cover science and social studies topics during our classes time, please let me know in advance so that I can plan accordingly. If at home activities and homework assignments are desired, please communicate this need during our introduction message or meeting. If you are interested in discounts for multiple siblings, please reach out to me!
