With help from the five senses and adjectives we can make our writing so much more colorful and exciting. We will look through sample sentences to help us practice writing with elaboration. In order to elaborate we must SHOW and not just tell. We will cover what the 5 senses are and how we can use them to add to our writing. With the help of GoogleSlides anchor charts and fill-in-the-blank starter sentences, we will work in collaboration through Zoom group chat, video discussion, and shared...
Students will learn how to incorporate the senses into their writing to make simple sentences worthy of a "picture in the mind" of a reader. They will learn the main questions to help create more elaborate writing.
Optional hand outs for extra practice will be loaded to the Classroom page. They will not be required to be handed in.
