This class is tailored to your child's needs. An assessment will be done to see where we need to begin. Skills covered may include reading comprehension, grammar, spelling, writing, test prep, and homework help. The structure of this class begins by reviewing what we previously discussed, followed by practice of that skill if needed. If extra practice is not needed, then I will introduce the next step. How I will teach your child will depend upon the skill being taught. I may teach using flashcards, lectures, games, slides, video clips, and guided practice. One of my goals for this class is for your child to be as comfortable as possible during their learning. I do not expect any child to learn a skill in one day, and will work with a child on a particular skill for as long as it takes until he/she gets it!
