Description
Class Experience
Understand how state English Language Arts test are given and what skills are required to be successful. Develop test taking strategies and skills useful in analyzing fiction and nonfiction text.
I am a certificated New York State English Language Arts teacher for grades 7-12. I am certified in Special Education (Generalist) as well.
Students will be given the material that will be reviewed as far as a practice test before the live meetings to assess their initial understanding of text questions and test taking strategies.
1 file available upon enrollmentA practice test will be distributed and notes on vocabulary will be given during the course via the class page.
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will refer to past examinations distributed by EngageNY for grades 5, 6, and 7- depending on students' abilities.
