The topic that will be taught is essential for the self-management skills. It will cover the effective study habits, test-taking strategies, note-taking skills, amplification of the tips before taking a test, and the application of the lessons from first to third sessions. Individuals with effective self-management skills who work as part of a larger team can improve not only their own overall performance but also the group's overall performance—both inside and outside of the school setting. On the first meeting, the teacher will present a paragraph and follow up questions that will answer the following: Am I reading or getting the details? Am I reading for particular meaning? Am I getting the definition of each word? Do I spell the new words correctly? Am I memorizing anything? Am I studying “to the test”? Is reading even important? and then it will proceed to the discussion of Effective study habits. In the second week, the learners will be able to determine the test-taking strategies such as a 5-day test preparation plan, multiple-choice test, true/false test, matching tests, completion tests, and quote strategy for taking the test. In the third week, the learners will be able to learn about Note-taking skills They will be able to respond to the following through discussion and activities : Why do I need to take note? How do I learn to take class notes? How will I organize my note? What should I do with my notes after I take them? In the fourth week, this will be the amplification of the tips before and during taking a test and the application of the lessons from the first to third sessions. This lesson is student-centered wherein learners are encouraged to speak more often in the class while developing their higher-order thinking skills by responding to the teacher's questions, explaining ideas on the slide, and doing various activities. It will also increase learners' confidence, competence, and self-esteem. The students will analyze the lesson comprehensively through engaging discussions and meaningful activities. Moreover, The students will apply the relevance of this lesson in real-life situations. Learners will do the given task independently and cooperatively.

Mentoring students in journalism was one of the indispensable milestones that I enjoyed doing for four years. My job was crucial but fulfilling because I could balance my work as a class adviser and guide and teach them the aspects of newspaper from writing, editing, and layout.

To achieve a meaningful, child-centered, and engaging class, learners have their way of grasping learning. As a teacher, I have to help my students develop themselves by supporting their specific needs and incorporating differentiated instructions.
I'm a passionate and student-centered-focused teaching professional committed to providing a supportive, meaningful, engaging, and well-balanced learning environment for all the learners of English. I'm competent in understanding learners' needs and forming sensible action plans that will be useful in achieving organizational goals.
