Editing Essentials With Adobe Premiere Pro

In this course, we will be building upon skills within Adobe Premiere Pro and learning the art of storytelling in the process. We will be learning how to conduct an interview and develop a final product using some of the tips and tricks of professionals. Students will - Understand important parts of a story (Setup, Rising Action, Resolution) - Develop questions to create sound bites and a narrative story - Create a sequence using Adobe Premiere Pro - Develop a final product using Non-Linear Editing (NLE) tools and processes - Present a final product to peers.

Homework Offered
Students will be given time within the class to complete work but will have specific objectives they must complete before the next class period. Those objectives are to ensure that we are staying on track to complete the final project by the end of the course.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Art is an inherently personal thing and while the topics will be kept to a PG environment, it is important to understand that each family is unique. Mr. Stahl will strive to tailor each class to the individual families and ages involved and create an environment of respect for all involved. Students will need access to an Adobe Creative Cloud account for this class. This account can be assigned to the student or a family member.
