This one-time class will combine two of my favorite things: science and food! We will use Oreos and other snack foods to demonstrate how each of the three types of rocks are formed, and the processes they go through to transform into one of the other types. Please note that the supplies are *optional.* I will be demonstrating in class, so students are welcome to just watch, or do the experiments along with me, at home. Also note: this could get messy, so I recommend putting down newspaper...
