Students will: understand and review biographical information about Edgar Allan Poe and the time period he lived; and identify the emotions revealed in his work. Students will be evaluated on their ability to: summarize his life and thinking (through conversation); discuss events that took place during the time period he lived; and explain a variety of quotes and their meaning. No prior knowledge is needed. *If there are less than three students, your child may be transferred to another section.
