Class Experience
Students will receive and be responsible for watching prerecorded videos, reviewing handouts, and completing activities and assignments weekly for each skill taught in this course.
Students will receive notes and virtual assignments to promote independent learning.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be evaluated on their ability to: summarize his life and thinking (through conversation); discuss events that took place during the time period he lived; explain a variety of quotes and their meaning; summarize basic elements (discussion); prove comprehension of the stories (correctly answer questions); and correct use of vocabulary (conversation).
No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
