Homework
1-2 hours per week. Based on flexibility, extra practice may be assigned.Class Experience
This is a one-hour open ended tutoring session in any area of high school physics, including standard, honors, AP, and IB level courses. Students can request specific help with a particular topic, preparing for an upcoming test or quiz, reviewing older material, or even getting ahead on what's coming up next in their course. Although I'm happy to cover new topics from scratch, students are encouraged to be prepared with specific topics that they would like to work on so we can make the best use of our time. During our time together, students will be discussing the content, we will go through questions and problems, complete practice test questions, and address concerns the students might have regarding their learning of Economics. Students learn the best when they are "doing", so I have students work through the problems through active learning. Feedback is key for student achievement. Feedback will be provided throughout our discussions and problem solving sessions. Flexibility for each student's particular needs will dictate if extra practice will be given. I generally recommend completing extra practice and meeting again to go over the problems.
