Description

Class Experience

The students will learning about the local, domestic and global economy. They will also improve their understanding of money, foreign currency, budgeting, investing, and saving for the future. 
I have been teaching financial literacy and leadership to youth for about 15 years. 
Questions and words will be homework:  Such as: Why should you save money? How much does a phone cost? What is a checking or saving account? What are resources?
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
We will discuss the terms in class and review the most important concepts on the last day of class. 
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
