Class Experience

Students will learn what makes food nutritious and how to prepare it different ways.
I am certified in plant- based nutrition through eCornell, and I have also received a certification for Child Nutrition.
Students will need to prepare before class.  There will also be additional nutritional information and recipes on the classroom page for students interested in learning more.
Self-assessment through eating your food.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will be working in the kitchen and learners may need guidance using appliances.  Learners will need to work with an adult before class starts to chop and prepare ingredients.  Reminders will be given during class on how to use the kitchen safely.

Please let me know if your child has any allergies so we can make suitable substitutions.
