Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello everyone!
I am a qualified Yoga Teacher and Therapist, having studied and taught over 500+ hours of classes. I have taught yoga to children and adults for 9 years and would like to share my knowledge of Yogic practices. Yoga is a tool for improved health and well-being.
My classes consist of postures, breathing techniques and meditation. Yoga is a Health Science and each posture has health benefits. For example, the inhalation and opening of the chest, results in more oxygen to the heart, which supports blood circulation and cell regeneration.
An example class breakdown would be:
Introduction circle
Set intention: ex: I am capable to face challenges
Meditation or breathing centering practice
Yoga postures
Meditation
Shared circle for feedback and closing
There will be spaces for questions and feedback in all classes. I want students to engage and participate to gain a sense of community, so we can encourage and learn from each other.
The foundations of Yoga are comfort and stability so if there are any issues ex: sore lower back I will teach modifications so you gain the same health benefits in a more comfortable and stable position.
I am from New Zealand and have been fortunate to travel to many parts of the world, including the USA, Europe and Asia. I am so excited to be able to teach these practices to students around the world, from the comfort of your own homes!
Yoga has given me many health benefits and I look forward to sharing these wonderfully, simple, yogic techniques with you - so you too may benefit...
Look forward to meeting you all soon!
Tash :)
