Description

Class Experience

In this 45 minute class, students will learn how to create 3D paper animal sculptures that stand up all on their own. Students will have a blast using their creativity to make whatever animal they choose — real or imaginary. This easy and fun arts & crafts class uses very basic supplies, but always has exciting results!

After a meet and greet and introduction to the project, I will demonstrate how to fold, cut and glue or tape a basic animal while students follow along with each step....

Students will learn how to fold and cut a piece of paper to create a 3D animal "sculpture" that stands up on four legs. Students will walk away with a piece of art they are proud of and the skills to make more creations on their own after class.

• Construction paper (or other stiff paper like card stock)
• Scissors
• Glue, glue stick, or tape
• Pencil 
• Colors (markers, crayons etc.)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Blunt tipped student scissors are recommended for safety.
