Description

Class Experience

In this ongoing class, we will learn to make the easiest origami shapes and animals. I keep my classes small so I can offer individual guidance for those learners needing extra attention. 

What I love most about origami is that you start in the same place every time: one square piece of paper. It’s so simple. And everyone making origami, from the beginner to the extraordinaire, starts with that same square piece of paper. One material. Endless possibilities.

Origami is helpful in developing...

 1. Square Origami Paper. You may need 3 - 5 pieces per class.

I like to use 6 X 6 origami paper with patterns. Solid colors may be easier for beginners or when learning more complicated pieces. You can go bigger with the paper size, but I wouldn’t recommend going smaller than 6 X 6. 

If you don’t have origami paper on hand, you can use any square paper as long as it’s not too thick or too thin.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
