Class Experience

Who doesn't love a chocolatey treat? It's even better when the treat has no added sugar and is gluten-free! In this class, your child will learn to make a delicious peanut butter brownie in the microwave. This recipe has only three main ingredients and doesn't involve any slicing or hot stoves and ovens. This recipe cooks in the microwave making the cook time quick and easy. Your child can customize their toppings with whipped cream, chocolate chips, or sprinkles, or nuts. While making their treat, students will practice mashing, measuring, and mixing.

During this class students will learn about cocoa (chocolate), peanut butter, and bananas as they learn to make a healthy and delicious snack. They will learn where the ingredients come from and how they are prepared.

Please see the materials section for ingredients and supplies. This is recipe isn't overly sweet, but it is very rich.
