Description

Class Experience

This class will reinforce/help:
*locating the frontal lobe
*learning function of the frontal lobe
*understanding how the areas of the brain affect different abilities of the body.
No homework is given.
Paper (or notebook) Pencil or Pen!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Trivia may be done at the end of class to see how students have absorbed the information.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We do talk briefly about frontal lobe damage in this class. I show an image on one slide of an example. It is a non-graphic image of a skull with damage to it, but if students are easily spooked or don't like seeing skulls (or diagrams of the brain) this may not be a good class for them.
Images are occasionally used to communicate topics.
