Class Experience

Students will understand the importance of skin care as it pertains to makeup application. They will also be able to understand what tools will work best with what they hope to accomplish for their first eye look. The student will also be able to successfully complete an eye look either during the class or after if tools are not readily available. Students will also be able to ask questions about makeup as it pertains to them and receive feedback that will further their knowledge in makeup application.
As this is only a one time class, homework is optional.
What I mean by this is, if the student cannot physically participate due to lack of tools, they can submit a picture of their eye look when they are able to.
If the student would like to participate while the class is in session, I ask that they have at the very least, moisturizer, sunscreen (or a moisturizer with spf), eyeshadow ( can be a palette, a duo, quad, or single eyeshadow - just something they can actually use on their eyes), mascara, and tools (makeup sponges, brushes, or foam applicators) The look we are going to do isn't going to include a whole lot of makeup but I want to ensure that the student is able to get a feel for what they would do when they start learning how to apply makeup.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The only assessment that will be done is that they will have to tell me one thing they learned in class that they didn't already know about makeup.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
