Description

Class Experience

Students will learn to make a simple video game in Scratch
Ms. Teni has taught Scratch lessons to California public school students for a few years.
-A Laptop or a desktop computer with webcam, speaker and microphone (No iPad and Chromebook please, unless you want to use it as a second screen for Zoom) -Internet: 3mbs+ -Using the Chrome browser is recommended -Having two devices, one for Zoom, one for Scratch would be helpful.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The project can be completed without making an account, but cannot  be saved and shared on the website. You can save the file to your computer without an account.
You need to create an account at https://scratch.mit.edu/ if you want your Lerner's project to be saved automatically. You have the option to share the project publicly and the option to keep it private. Please create your account before the class starts.

Having two screens would be helpful. One for Zoom and the other one for Scratch. 
Using the Chrome browser is recommended.
