Description

Class Experience

Students will learn how to structure and organize their thoughts into an essay that's memorable, true to who they are, and impact the college admissions personnel.
After the first class meeting, students will have 48 hours to send me the first draft of their college essay (400-650 words). I'll provide notes, corrections, and feedback for each student and send them back within 48 hours.

Using my provided notes, students will have the opportunity to revise and complete a second draft before the next class if they choose.

All submissions must be sent as a Word doc or Google doc.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will provide an informal assessment of each student's second draft within a week following the second and final class meeting.
***I'll be available, by email, for further advice or feedback after our final class meeting.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
