Class Experience

Each week is a stand alone class with a new project to draw. Students do not need to attend every class and will not fall behind if they can not attend every class.
Each month will have a theme and may be subject to change based on students' requests.
The prospective schedule is as follows:
July-- Sand Castles, Pirate Ships and Treasures (Pirates, ships, treasure chests, maps and palm tree island)
August--Wonderful Water Worlds (fish, sea creatures, sharks, dolphins and whales)
September--Farm Friends (barns, farm animals fall fun)
October--What is That! (pumpkins, friendly spooks, crooked house, bats and more)
November--Fall Woodland Friends (bears, foxes, bunnies, deer, birds and more)
December--Winter Wonderland (snowman, snowflakes, fireplace with fire, holly leaves and berries, reindeer, polar bear, sleighs)
Learning Goals
Children will learn hand and eye coordination while drawing fun pictures. They will learn to see shapes and outlines first like squares, circles and triangles.
Each drawing project will be posted before the class and will be emailed to each student prior to class.
Students will learn and draw at their own pace. This class will not be a competition to create the best drawing--every student has different abilities so each completed drawing will be celebrated. Students are not required to show their work.
