Learn how to play a blues melody and easy blues chords on the guitar.
Class experience
This one-time class is for students with minor previous guitar experience. Musicians will be taught a blues melody and simple chords to accompany the tune. Students will need to have a guitar during the class and can use either an acoustic or an electric 6-string guitar. All instruments should be tuned before the class begins. Guitarists at the end of this course will have the knowledge and experience of play a blues song as the lead player and the accompanist.
I have taught and played guitar for well over 20 years. I have played in several ensembles as a leader and band member.
Guitar Tuner I will supply the music.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
If a student chooses to use an electric guitar, parents please stay with the child during the entire session.
