Class Experience
Some of the things you can expect to learn in Suzuki Flute private lessons are: Posture Breathing Techniques Phrasing and Musicality Ear Training Audition Preparation Stage Presence and Performance
Daily practice between 5-30 minutes depending on age and experience. Daily listening to Suzuki repertoire and any others assigned on an individual basis.
Learners must have a flute. This flute can be a Nuvo curved head flute for young beginners, a Toot for preschool beginners, or a curved head joint metal flute. In addition, some beginning students may need a pinwheel, rice, ABC cards (printable), Dr. Shinichi Suzuki's Nurtured by Love book, Suzuki Flute Volume 1 book and CD, and bubbles. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
