In this 4 week course, students will continue learning basic Japanese language including weather, body parts, family members, animals, and hiragana. Unit 2 is part of a 3-Unit series.
Class experience
In this 4 week course that meets once a week, students will continue learning the basics of the Japanese language including hiragana, weather, body parts, animals and family members using simple phrases and vocabulary. This unit is part 2 of the 3 part series "Easy Beginner Japanese for Kids: Units 1 Through 3", and it is highly recommended that learners start at Unit 1. Learners who would like to join from Unit 2 or 3 should have some knowledge of hiragana and basic Japanese vocabulary....
Students will be able to identify body parts and family members using the "they is my __" phrase, and give examples of what they like and don't like. Students will be able to identify columns of hiragana "NA" through "YA".
Homework Offered
Approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour of homework will be assigned each week, which will be primarily hiragana writing practice and memorization.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
No formal assessment is planned; teacher will continuously check for student comprehension by asking questions during class.Grades Offered
Teacher will post a handout of the phrases and vocabulary words learned after each class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
