In this one-time class, students will create an adorable cat painting. The teacher will interact with each student throughout the class and monitor their progress. The students will follow along with the teacher step-by-step on the teacher’s document camera. The teacher will model each step for this painting lesson visually and verbally. The teacher will give the students design techniques, ideas, examples, and encourage them to use their own imaginations to make this artwork their own. Before the class ends, the students will be encouraged to share their artwork with the other students and interact with them socially. The students will view pictures of cats and hear some cat jokes using a google slides presentation. Zoom- Please make sure to log into your Zoom Class a few minutes prior to the class start time. You will be placed in the waiting room right before class starts. During this time, make sure your child’s name is displayed in your Zoom link (this will make it easier for me to call on your child during class), test your audio, and make sure your laptop is plugged in or you have enough battery life. Refund Policy- You will receive a full refund within 24 hours of purchase, or up to one week in advance of the class. The students are not required to have any prior knowledge or experience.

*9”x12” white watercolor paper (Heavyweight is best) *1 watercolor paint set (If you would like pink flowers, please make sure your watercolor set includes a pink color) *1 black Sharpie permanent marker *1 small container filled with water *A medium-size pointed-tip paintbrush (I will be using a size #8) *1 paper towel *1 red oil pastel *1 pencil & eraser
