Description
Class Experience
1 bag chocolate candy melts or almond bark (10-12 oz.) 1 bag white chocolate melts or almond bark (10-12 oz.) 2 - 2.5 inch silicone molds (I use these from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KVHLRNS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Spoon or offset spatula to use when filling molds 2 small/medium microwave safe bowls (silicone bowls work great for melting chocolates. I use these: https://www.pamperedchef.com/shop/Kitchen+Tools/Storage/Silicone+Prep+Bowl+Set/1751) 1/2 cup of chocolate chips (milk chocolate or semi-sweet) Hot cocoa mix (1 tbsp for each bomb) Mini marshmallows Sprinkles or candy canes for decorating (optional) Heat safe plate for microwave Wax paper or parchment paper Cookie sheet
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be required to use the microwave to heat a small plate (which will be warm to the touch). They will also be required to use the microwave to melt the different chocolates. Please offer assistance and heating pads, if needed.
