Class Experience

This class meets only once. The book "Our Easter Book" will be on the screen where the children can see and follow along as I read it for the class. There will also be a coloring page for the end of class that we can do together. We will be having discussions and be able to talk about what we enjoy doing for Easter and more. We will focus on fun and talking about what makes us happy.

Come join me for this reading of a book and Easter time fun for all! I can not wait to meet everyone and hear all about them.

Supply List

There will be a coloring page included so it would be nice to have coloring tools (markers, crayons, waterpaint, whatever your child enjoys) and the picture printed so they can color their picture with the class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello! I am a graduate of Mississippi State University with my Bachelors Degree in Criminology and Sociology. I completed my undergraduate studies in just 3 years and graduated in the top 1% of my college.

I am currently an ESL (English as a Second Language) educator  for children between the ages of 3 and 14. I enjoy educating children in English, and I also enjoy sparking an interest in Criminology and Sociology. I love the conversations and ideas that can come from nearly any aspect of Sociology, and I love hearing children's thoughts on each subject.

My approach to learning is to allow students to think about each subject and express those thoughts. If a child can think independently on a topic, he or she has learned far more than if they were only lectures. It is better to talk with a student than talk to them.  

In my personal life, I am married. My husband and I have three rescue cats and one rescue dog. I enjoy reading fiction and nonfiction books, reading comics, playing video games and cooking.
