In this one-time class, students will learn to draw their favorite beagle, Snoopy! This is a one-off variation of one of my on-going classes: Learn To Draw Your Favorite Peanuts Characters, and will focus primarily on a scene with Snoopy as the subject. Students can rest assured that they need not have a lot of previous drawing experience. Students will learn how to see and break down characters into their fundamental shapes that they can use to reconstruct existing and original characters, including themselves!
I have a bachelor's degree in graphic design and I own a photography business specializing in portraits and events. I am also an avid fine artist focusing on character design and illustration and have by practicing for over 30 years. I have taught learners in a variety of artistic programs ranging in ages of 6 - 12 years.
Required Materials: Several pieces of 8 ½ x 11 (or A4 size) paper #2 pencil Eraser (if not included as part of pencil) Coloring materials like crayons, markers or colored pencils For Advanced Students: Feel free to bring your favorite sketchbook, drawing pencils, art erasers and favorite coloring medium.
