Description

Class Experience

Watercolor has been a medium which is used in sketching, especially while traveling. Therefore, this class is not only to help students review sketching techniques which they have learnt in sketching lessons, but also experiment with painting techniques which are used for watercolor. Students will experiment mixing colors, glazing layers, controlling waters, and manipulate brushes with a step-by-step instruction. *Students will need some experience of sketching and shading before taking...

SKETCHING:
- Pencil (2B or darker such as 3B, 4B,...)
- Eraser (cut by half diagonally)

PAINTING
- Watercolor paper
- A set of 12 (or 24) watercolor paints - NO GOUACHE 
- A Palette
- Brushes (Natural hair brushes or Chinese calligraphy brushes)
- 2 jars/cups filled with water.
- 2 soft towels (or paper towels)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
