It would be very fun to travel the world to see how different countries celebrate Easter. Thanks to this class you don't have to do that! Come join in to see what people do in other countries do to celebrate! Flying kites, colorful carpets, throwing buckets of water, fireworks, costumes, giant omlet, the White House Easter Egg roll are only some of the things we will talk about! This class will be relaxed and full of fun while virtually travelling the world together! This class is a secular class however Easter is a Christian holiday and some traditions are based around this. This will not be the main focus of class but depending on how much time we have we could very briefly mention some traditions in certain countries. An example would be in Australia Hot Cross Buns are popular because they look like they have a cross on them or that a Lily flower represents peace and rebirth. If you do not want your learner briefly hearing about a couple traditions like that then this class may not be for you. Traditions discussed in this class are typically done in each particular country. However, this does not mean that every community or home would celebrate in the same way.
