Description
Class Experience
Students will enact hand-eye coordination and fine motor practice while painting with Q-tips.
I am offering this class because it is a fun way to look forward to Easter. I enjoy reading to children and assisting them to boost their creativity.
Student must come to class with: 1. A large egg shape cut out from paper. Size is up to you but should be large enough for the child to paint and explore different painting strategies. 2.Several Q-tips, parent can decide if child only needs one or one for each paint color...each child is different 3. Several colors of tempera or acrylic paint (parent decides colors and how many colors according to the needs of their own children) The teacher will provide the story and the storybook illustrations as well as ideas for painting with the Q-tip.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents will need to cut out a large Easter egg shape from paper for their child to paint. The size is up to you. Parents will also need to assist children with tempera or acrylic paint as the children dip their Q-tip into the paint and decorate their egg.
