Welcome to Astronomy 101! In this fun and engaging class we will meet once a week to explore our universe. Each week will be a new astronomy topic. We will learn what creates a black hole, why is the sun so hot, explore our solar systems and more! We will start class off by saying hello to everyone, then we will learn about our topic. Learners are encouraged to draw or write the concepts we are learning to create a journal!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Welcome to my classroom! My name is Jessica, my students call me, Ms. Jessica. I have been an online educator for over three years. I received my B.S in Management and Leadership in 2016 and then moved onto my master's program to receive my Masters of Arts in Teaching for Special Education. In 2020 with a semester and left and my student teaching I decided to stay home and homeschool my own kiddos! I have a boy with Down syndrome and another little boy. My special education background allows me to customize my classes and adapt to any learner. When I am not teaching I enjoy taking our family dog on walks, spending time in nature, reading books of all kind, watching history documentaries, cooking, and spending time with my family.
