In this one time EARTH DAY class, the learners will listen to a story called Thank You, Earth by April Pulley Sayre. The story will be read with fluency and expression with lots of opportunities for the learners to add to the story and to make text to self connections or even text to text connections. The learners will then create a We Love The Earth poster using writing and step by step directions to create the planet Earth complete with the water and land. The poster will be a project...
