In this one time class students will learn about the history of earth day and earth day traditions from different countries around the world. The class will be presented with a powerpoint and include discussion about these traditions with a kahoot at the end of class about the traditions we learned about. The countries will include: United States, Denmark, Japan, Canada, Spain, India and Switzerland Students will be encouraged to also share ways they celebrate earth day or any fun facts they know about earth day
