Let's celebrate Earth Day together! Join us for a fun filled Earth Day themed camp for kids! More now than ever it is important to learn about the earth and how we can protect it. Each class we will have a welcome/introduction and show and tell. Feel free to bring something you enjoy to show the class. We will also be talking about the earth and different ways we can protect it and play a fun Earth Day themed “Would You Rather” game. Below is a break down of each day and what we will be doing. Let's have fun together! Even if you do not have the supplies needed for class we would still love to see you! I always give alternative things students can do as well as hear the story, listen to songs an socialize! (Please see the supply list for what your student will need each day.) Class 1 Today we will be making bird feeders. Coloring Page We will be talking about different ways that we can protect the earth from right at home and also watching a video showing how different places in the world celebrate Earth Day! Class 2 We will be making No Bake Dirt Cups today. Coloring Page We will discuss what endangered vs extinct means, ocean vs. land animals and why it is important to protect animals around us. We will also be watching a video on polar bears and how to save them! Class 3 We will finish off our camp with a craft this day. We will be making an Earth craft that can hang in the window and listening to a song about how to save the planet.

Welcome!
When students are interested in what they are doing, learning they will WANT to learn! I hope that your students will love to learn and become lifelong learners. I want all children to feel comfortable, engaged, encouraged and have fun in my classes I have worked with students from ages 0-14 for over 20 years. I have held several other jobs than teaching which I adored but at this point this is my passion.
My teaching experience comes from multiple sources. Online I have taught thousands of children overseas to learn English through VIPKid. VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) is known for their vigorous standards and training. I have also taught for an elite online program, called Synthesis. Synthesis is an elite program created by the one of the founders of Ad Astra. (Ad Astra is the school that Elon Musk created at SpaceX.) I have also taught thousands of children right here on Outschool since 2020.
Offline teaching experience comes from teaching at a Montessori pre-school, teaching swim and gym classes, summer camps and Sunday school. I also have taught students with a wide range of mental and physical abilities. All students are welcome in my classes and I am willing to make accommodations if requested.
My education consists of a BA in psychology, a BA in Conflict Resolution, TESL, TEOFL, over 40 online teaching certificates, mental health first aid certification, and palliative care certification.
I have two children who are everything to me. I homeschool them and we love going on adventures together. In my spare time I love travelling, baking, camping, Disney, swimming, the beach, water activities, working out, reading and all things full of sparkle and glitter! You can always find me taking a course or earning some kind of certificate.
