I will be using the Abridge Academy curriculum for these classes. This series of classes, aimed at advanced English language learners or native speakers, focuses on core topics from the middle/high school science curriculum. This class is taught in English.
Students can develop their English skills through practicing in a subject-specific context.
Homework can be assigned if the parent chooses. The assignments are typically worksheets that have student fill in vocabulary words or facts learned from the lesson.
An assessment or review is given at the end of each lesson. If parent chooses, student can also be quizzed at start of next class.

Abridge Academy- The curriculum was developed and provided by this company. To access the curriculum, I will be screen sharing my class with the student so that they may participate in the interactive slides. BBC Bitesize - embedded class videos and information for the class has come from BBC Biteize. Unless extra time is to be had at the end of class, we will not be using this resource directly. National Geographic - embedded class videos and information for the class has come from National Geographic. Unless extra time is to be had at the end of class, we will not be using this resource directly.
