Teacher expertise and credentials
I have 13 years of experience working with children in various educational settings. During this time, I have taught a wide range of subjects, including grammar and language skills, to children of different ages and abilities. I hold an associate degree in Early Childhood Education, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to teach foundational concepts to young learners effectively.
Additionally, I am TEFL-certified (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), which has allowed me to specialize in teaching English to non-native speakers. My TEFL training has given me valuable tools for teaching grammar concepts, such as the present simple of “have got,” in an engaging and accessible way for ESL learners. I have taught this specific topic many times to young ESL learners in online and in-person settings, creating interactive and fun lessons that help students develop confidence in their language skills.
My approach emphasizes hands-on learning, practical applications, and clear, age-appropriate explanations to ensure students understand and retain the material. I am passionate about helping children learn and thrive, and I enjoy creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment for all my students.
