Class Experience

In Early Arabic Reading course, we will learn to read Arabic words and short sentences.

Your learner is ready for this course if they:
-	Know at least 25 Arabic letters out of 28.
-	Know at least 8 sounds of the Arabic letters.
-	Beginning to write his/her name independently.

During the length of this course (8 weeks) learners will progress at their own pace. We will start with fat'ha sounds for words and short sentences as a basic skill to attain, When a learner reaches a certain level of confidence in their reading, the learner will then get a 2n'd sound (kasra) added to their reading practice, followed by the 3rd sound (Damma). I will work with each learner according to their current level and support their progression.

For the more advance readers we will cover the other sounds (sukoon, tanween, shadda and alif lam).

When the learner is at a good level of reading with all the tashkeel (vowels) we will cover reading comprehension using digital resources and handouts.

Every week there will be handouts, a workshop paper and a handwriting paper. Learners will receive different handouts according to their level.

This class will be delivered in English.

PLEASE NOTE:

✔️Please make sure your learner is in a quiet environment.

✔️ All learners will be asked to keep their camera on throughout class duration.

✔️Class recordings are not available to share, the enrolment is for live meetings only.
