Description
Class Experience
The 13 colonies have just been formed and the colonists are busy creating their own communities and ways of life. However, they are unhappy about many aspects regarding their British rule, resulting in many conflicts, arguments and protests. And so begins America's quest for freedom and thus the American Revolution. In this class, students will learn about the American War of Independence, from the French and Indian War, to the Patriots versus Loyalists, to the Declaration of Independence...
I am a graduate of the University of California, Davis, where I received my BA in communication with a triple minor in English, history and writing. I hold a valid California single subject teaching credential in English, with a supplementary credential in social studies.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
