Class Experience
This class will introduce or review the short "e" sound. At the beginning of this class as an introduction, we will play a game to practice recognizing the vowels. This will give students an opportunity to interact with me and their classmates. We will concentrate on the short "e" sound in this class. Students will practice making the sound and differentiating between this sound and short "a, i, o. and u". We will practice blending one consonant and the short "e"; we will also work at forming...
Student will learn the short "e" sound; they will learn to listen for the short "e" sound. They will also have opportunity to blend consonants with the short "e".
Paper/whiteboard Pencil/marker/crayon that can be easily read.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
