🎲 Please note: Due to new changes, once you have enrolled, I will keep this as private in order to keep this class individualized for your child.

🎲 Also, the syllabus explains the. First block of classes. It varies on student need during each new set or block of classes.

🎲 Typically, this is a long-term commitment. It is set up for 4 weeks at a time. You register for 4 weeks, at a time we’ve agreed on, and continuing in that way going forward. There’s no real time frame for when tutoring should start or how long kids will need it.**

 ************************************************************

Dyscalculia in children often involves struggling with one or more of the following:
•Simple mathematics - memorizing and applying math facts: addition and multiplication
•The order of operations
•The ability to visualize a small or large quantity
•To mentally connect a number with a size or quantity (number sense)
•Learning to tell time, dates, months.

I will use the information you provide about your child and appropriate number sense and numeration. This will help me get to know your child, as well strengths and weaknesses.

Lessons and activities from leaders in dyscalculia research will be tailored and individualized to meet your learner’s needs.

Lessons will be:

•Structured and Incremental

•Math manipulatives and/or Virtual math tools.

•Focused on verbal reasoning - Learners can “talk through” math problems and concepts. Using written and spoken words can help learners understand the basic concepts.
